OUR PHOTOGRAPHIC ADVENTURE BEGINS…

Our adventure starts in Nairobi. After arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and going through customs, you will be met at the airport and have a short transfer to a 4-star hotel in the vicinity of the airport.

After a good night of sleep we’ll depart for Kibo Safari Camp, located just outside of Amboseli National Park’s south entrance. Kibo Safari Camp is a luxury tented camp which provides modern amenities like flush toilets, hot showers and excellent cuisine. This will be our home base for the following nights.

Having our own vehicles and local guides means we do not have to stick to lodge game drives times. We can spend our time in search of sightings in the scenic Amboseli National Park between sunrise and sunset. During these sightings we will provide a relaxed, casual and constrictive environment on anything related photographing these magnificent animals and landscapes. There’s no set day to day programme; we’ll learn on the spot and provide flexible instruction topics to suit photographers of any skill level.

Karibu sana!

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1 - Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi and transfer to the 4-star Four Points by Sheraton Hotel (or comparable) at the airport.

Day 2 - Early breakfast and meeting with the group and guide. After a short briefing we’ll transfer towards Amboseli National Park in Southern Kenya. This is a trip of approx. 6 hours and underway we’ll see some local villages and visit a local Curio Shop. When arriving at Amboseli we’ll have a late lunch and go for an afternoon safari in Amboseli.

Day 3 - 5 - Each day we enjoy a full day of safari in Amboseli National Park. Depending on the best wildlife activity, this will either be an all day safari or an early morning and late afternoon game drive. Though there are many species living in Amboseli, like lions, giraffe and hyena, the park has an abundance of elephants. The herds sometimes counting close to over 50 elephants and some of the biggest tuskers in the world call these plains their home. The park is a scenic wonder right at the foot of Kilimanjaro. If we are lucky enough to experience little overcast we can see the iconic mountain in its full glory and use it as a backdrop for one of those iconic Africa images.

Day 6 - Early morning safari and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi for your outbound flight.

Day 7 - Arrival home.
